Farm Field Schools Project

The goal of the project is to provide support aimed at improving the lives of children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and also ensure access for orphans and vulnerable children to quality essential services: Education, Health, Nutrition, Psychosocial support and household economic.

The goal of the project is to provide support aimed at improving the lives of children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and also ensure access for orphans and vulnerable children to quality essential services: Education, Health, Nutrition, Psychosocial support and household economic.

The project focuses on training of farmers on Crop farming and pasture development in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture for improved food security and economic development. It is funded by The Trinity Church Cheltenham in UK. There are currently 18 farmers schools with 36 farmers each reaching a total of 648 farmers in Kericho, Bomet and Narok Counties. The farmers learn modern climate smart farming methods and have related Bible studies. There is up to 200% increase in crop production and the farmers contribute part of their produce to support needy children in the community.
