"Growing Futures: Abosi Schools Cultivating Success with Hass Avocado Project"

Journey with us through this captivating and educational documentary of the implementation of the school Hass avocado project across seven primary schools in Abosi, under the ADS SR Bomet CCCD Project, This is a story that represents a transformative initiative aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and income generation among students and their communities.

This project is designed not only to teach students valuable agricultural skills but also to encourage a culture of environmental stewardship and economic empowerment. Each school receives hands-on training in avocado cultivation, from seedling care to seedling management, under the guidance of skilled agricultural Extension Officers as well as Project staff. Through this, students learn about agribusiness and the potential of Hass avocados as a high-value crop, capable of generating income that can support school needs and community welfare. With the added goal of enhancing food security and promoting healthy diets, this project is planting seeds of growth—both in the soil and in the young minds of Abosi.
