The insights of The Theology of our Development Work

This week, our Executive Director was among the 10 Anglican Development Services Region’s Directors who attended the Quarterly meeting held in Nyeri County.
During the meeting, the Directors were trained on this very important aspect of “Theology of Development.
Theology of Development integrates religious beliefs with social and economic progress, promoting holistic development that considers spiritual, moral, and ethical dimensions alongside material needs. It provides a moral framework for ethical and just actions, emphasizes empowerment and community participation, and advocates for sustainability and social justice. By aligning development practices with religious values, it ensures cultural relevance, supports peace building, and aims for a more compassionate and sustainable world.
