"Pamoja Tudumishe Elimu: Transforming Lives Through Education and Child Protection in Narok County"
In the heart of Narok County, a transformative initiative is weaving a brighter future for children at risk of dropping out of school. The "Pamoja Tudumishe Elimu" project, a long-standing partnership between ADS SR and We World Kenya Foundation, is making waves across Narok North, Narok Central, and Narok East Sub-Counties. Its mission? To promote quality and inclusive education for the retention and engagement of students.

The impact of this collaboration is evident in the smiles of children who now enjoy better health and brighter prospects. School health programs, an integral part of the project, ensure that growth monitoring, deworming, and treatment of minor ailments are regularly conducted in 9 Primary Schools supported by the project.
Generous donations of quality medicine from We World Kenya Foundation enable children with minor ailments to receive timely treatment without leaving school. This week marks the start of these school health activities in the schools.
ADS SR has had great working relations with the Ministry of Health. Our active collaborations with the Sub County Health Departments has amplified the school health initiatives by the active involvement of medical staff from nearby health facilities and the Narok Referral Hospital.
During growth monitoring sessions, children diagnosed with nutrition-related conditions receive immediate care, including nutritional supplements, appropriate medication, and referrals where necessary. This coordinated approach involves a team of dedicated professionals, including nurses, nutritionists, and other specialists, tailored to the needs of each child.
For older students, health talks are more than educational sessions—they are life-changing experiences. These discussions have heightened awareness of healthy practices, instilled positive behavior changes, and encouraged lifelong habits for overall well-being.
Strengthening child protection mechanisms has also reaped significant benefits. A dedicated team of professionals working within Child Protection mandates convene to address pertinent issues sounding the well-being of the children. By addressing issues of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, the project has promoted a safer, more supportive environment for children. This empowerment is paving the way for their holistic development, ensuring they grow up in communities that value their safety and potential.
The partnership between ADS SR and We World Kenya Foundation demonstrates what can be achieved when organizations unite for a common purpose. The ripple effects of their work have touched countless lives of children, proving that the pros of this collaboration are immeasurable.
ADS SR remains deeply committed to this partnership, grateful for We World Kenya Foundation’s unwavering support. Together, they continue to champion the cause of education and child protection, turning challenges into opportunities and dreams into reality.
