In July 2025, the Olopi Compassion Project made remarkable strides in empowering families through sustainable livelihood initiatives. With a key focus on strengthening caregiver groups, the project—under the long-standing partnership between ADS South Rift and Compassion International—secured funds to support two dynamic groups: one engaged in maize farming and the other in beekeeping.
In the culturally rich Narok County, where traditions shape daily life and influence critical decisions, a powerful movement is rewriting the narrative on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The IMARA Project (Imarisha Mwanamke Afya na Raslimali)—a project implemented by ADS SR with support from We World Foundation—is leading the change, bringing men to the center of the fight against FGM through a culturally grounded, community-driven approach.
The year 2025 began on a high note at the Erupata Compassion-Assisted Project (KE 219 CDC), the Project Patron, Ven. Naikumi, chaired the first monthly meeting of the year for the ASM and the Project Caregivers. The meetings brought together the Accountability Structured Members (ASM) to address areas of priority and key issues of concern as well as provide the caregivers with project updates, upcoming events and emerging issues surrounding their duties and responsibilities as caregivers
The ADS SR Narok Office commenced the year 2025 with an engaging and purpose-driven staff opening meeting held today in the Narok Boardroom. The meeting served as an opportunity to warmly welcome staff members back from the December holiday break and to outline the strategic vision and key priorities for the year ahead.
16th June 2025: ADS Southrift, through its Bomet CCCD Project and Compassion-assisted projects, joined community members and other key stakeholders on 16th June 2025 to commemorate the Day of the African Child (DAC). The annual event brought together children, caregivers, community leaders, and partners to celebrate the resilience, potential, and rights of African children.
Yesterday(17.12.24), the entire organization came together in a very colourful ceremony at Kericho to bid farewell to the Outgoing ADS SR Executive Director, a woman who has been much more than a leader—she’s been the heart, soul, and engine of innovation at ADS SR: Mrs. Mary Naikumi!!.
